Basic Skills

This class is for any member looking to sharpen their skills.

Dress Code—Normal OSHA approved clothing and work boots. Compliance is MANDATORY.

These classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and run for 6 weeks, schedules will be given out on the first night.

This course is intended to help build the foundation that will be necessary for your development as a Unionized Sheet Metal Worker in the Building Trades.
Members will benefit from this class as it will insure that you possess the skills and information necessary to be a great union Brother or Sister in the Building Trades environment.

The curricula is based on Core Fundamentals, Trade Related Math, Field Measuring, Plans and Specifications, Drafting Plan and Elevation Drawings, Safety, Shop Layout and Equipment, Hanger Systems, Intro to Duct Design, and more.

You must provide a current dues receipt to attend.
There is no tuition for this class.
